    Less talk, more action

A friend and I went to Sonoma Raceway just to get some sun and get out of the house. Afterwards he drew me a picture — freehand. He may have sparked something in me to get moving toward my goals.

    What happened

A friend and I went to Sonoma Raceway to get some sun and get out of the house.

Afterwards, he drew this picture for me — freehand. A great friend and a talented artist.

He may have sparked something in me to get moving toward my goals. Less talk, more action.

    What I learned

    • —I realized it was my fear that was holding me back — and I just needed to decide to do it.

    The car

No car of mine on track yet — just a drawing of the number 7 CHAVEZ car that lived in my imagination, and the seed of the idea that maybe it didn't have to stay there.

    The people

A great friend and talented artist who saw something in me before I acted on it — and put it on paper.

    Next improvement

Decide to do it. Turn the drawing into a plan, and the plan into seat time.
